If you're planning on making the bike Rally on Galveston Island you should make reservations to stay or come and party at GrandSport Speedway at the Longhorn Campround.
The challenges with the other bike rallys held in the area has been the lack of a large camping, concert, party area like the Buffalo Chip in Sturgis. Without such a venue the other rally's stop growing and can become boring to attend! Statistics say that around 80% of the other bike rally participants are from the Houston area only. Not from everywhere else like other major rally's. The reason for this??? No place for people to come and stay and have a great time. The Longhorn Campground is the key to growing the other rally's in the area. People will come from far and near like at Sturgis or Daytona and make a much larger and more enjoyable event!
How long can you party before you can't ride anywhere? How long can you party before you just want to ride somewhere? We have the solution..... stay with us, party with us! How much fun can you have on the public streets of Galveston before you are in trouble for ???? Have some fun there but no too much and don't party naked!
Well, if you have ever been to Sturgis you know the party is not in the town of Sturgis. The real party is at the Buffalo Chip campground or the Full Throttle Saloon! Yes, we are on our way to being the biggest and best after party in Texas just like at the other rally's!
Our camping will cost you very little money and you can come and party for free.
Rally Camping
• $75 for the weekend Per 50'X16' camping spot for Thursday - Sunday or any combination there of. One truck/trailer or RV on each site.Dry camping is on a concrete surface. The required campers wristbands are not included in the camping fee and are an additional $20 per camper. All campers require a wristband.
• Tent camping $20 for the weekend on the grass. A $20 wrist band will be required for each camper.
• The camping area is a separate area from the main party area and can be accessed through a controlled gate.
• All campers will be issued their wristbands when they arrive. You need a wristband to stay the night no matter where you are sleeping! They are $20 each. If you are just parting and not staying you don't need any stinking wristband!
• Only campers may bring food and beverages to the track as food and beverages will be available on site.
Other:
Sewage dump station and non-potable water fill available on site. $20 per use.
Party Area
Drop by for a beer, music, watch some racing during the day, good friends and something to eat from 10am to 2am Friday and Saturday night.
Admission is free during the day and to the party on Saturday night. Come out and see what is going on!.
Saturday Night Party Entertainment includes but not limited to!
BIKE RODEO! - Trophies - 7 events - Saturday Afternoon at 2pm - free to come watch.
- Bikini and Wet T shirt contest - Saturday night around 11:30pm.
- Musical Entertainment on Saturday by JJ Dynomite!
- Stay warm at our Bonfire Saturday night. Irt starts at 8pm.
- Scheduled Bike parade loop - Whenever someone wants to do one
- Cars and Motorcycles on track all weekend from 9-5pm for your viewing pleasure. Admission is free!
No beverages will be allowed into the party area from the campground or anywhere else. Beverages will be available on site.

HOW TO GET THERE!
From the island travel north on I45. Exit west on highway 6 towards Hitchcock. Turn left on FM2004 and go about 1.5 miles. You will see the small sign on the left.
From downtown Houston head south on I-45 towards Galveston. Exit on Exit 15, continue straight through the light staying right onto FM 2004 that runs parallel to the dog track. Continue down FM 2004 for about 5 miles right through Hitchcock until you see four large concrete pillars on your left. The track is behind these pillars. About one half of a mile past Blimp Base Rd turn left through the gate beside the Grandsport Speedway sign. You are now on the site of Grandsport Speedway.
Longhorn Campground Camping Rules
- No fireworks, firearms, weapons, pets, kids or attitudes will be allowed on site. Please leave them at home where they are safe and don't risk being denied entry!
Taking care of the racetrack facility.
- No one will be allow on or near the racing surface
- No glass beer bottles are allowed on site, aluminum only please!
The use of other glass bottles and glass containers will be restricted to your own campsite; no carrying other glass containers within the rally site. If you are seen walking around with a glass container, your wristband will be removed and will be asked to leave the property. Broken glass and RV, motorcycle and race tires don't mix!
- If you do have a problem while at the Longhorn Campground.
We just want everyone to have a good time! Any problem should be reported to someone at the box office immediately. We'll fix it as soon as possible. No complaining or yelling at the employees is allowed - we both need them to fix problems as they are reported.
- The Long Horn Campground Requires Wristbands in Campground at all times!
Campers must wear wristband at all times. NOTE: BROKEN OR LOST WRISTBANDS WILL NOT BE REPLACED but can be purchased for $15 per night.. FORGERIES WILL BE PROSECUTED CRIMINALLY. If you don't have a wristband you will be asked to purchase one immediately or asked leave the property. Your choice!
- While at the Long horn campground don't forget you picture ID
Bring photo ID. It's necessary if you intend to buy beer or alcohol.
- Don't ruin your trip by bringing your pets or kids.
This is an adult party! NO PETS or KIDS ARE ALLOWED. Leave pets home with the kids. Tie them together and they can entertain each other there! You must be 18 years of age to attend this party. There will be no exceptions and please don't request one. We don't care if you dog, cat or parrot is 21 years old or you treat your kids like a pet!
- Proper Grilling equipment will be allowed only.
The only fires allowed are: 1) Liquid, propane or charcoal fueled grills, meaning a metal or stone device designed to cook food within a firebox that is not resting on the ground. The Long Horn Campground DOES NOT allow the use of fireworks. Violators will be escorted off the premises.
- Do not run over a fellow Rally partyers.
ATV’s and Golf Cart are welcome at the Long Horn Campground but please respect other campers and guests. 4-wheeled vehicles must be kept parked after dark. This restriction does not apply to ATVs and golf carts with proper lighting, but please use common sense and drive slowly. Speeding ATVs or golf carts, whether or not being driven recklessly, will be grounded at security until the owner departs.
- Help us at the Long Horn Campground Become “Best Party Anywhere”
Help us keep the ability to serve you and continue to provide the Rally’s Best Party Anywhere. Help us enforce alcohol laws. NO ONE UNDER 21 YEARS OF AGE CAN POSSESS OR CONSUME ALCOHOL ANYWHERE ON THE Long Horn CAMPGROUND. No adult can provide alcohol to anyone under 21. Violators will be removed from the campground grounds without refund and subject to arrest. Fake IDs will be seized and reported.
- Don'ts when attending The Longhorn party area (day passes)
The party area is separate from the camping area. Don't bring any fireworks, glass, pets, alcohol, drugs or weapons, drunk pets with glass containers onto the Longhorn Campground during your visit. Due to safety concerns no outside beverages will be allowed into the party area from outside the property or from the party area. Beverages will be available on site. Bear with us as we necessarily check vehicles and bags at the gate, etc., at the entrances to exclude bottles, cans, coolers, weapons, and other contraband
- Weather
Rain or Shine: Bear with us and our weather. In Galveston we say that if you don't like the weather, just wait a minute & it'll change. We are on the Gulf of Mexico. Count on the probability that it will rain at least once and don't be surprised by hurricanes, tornados, excessive sun, snow, sleet and what ever else you won’t expect.
Weather may result in the temporary delay or even cancellation of some or all entertainment. We can't control it. We have to pay to put it all together whether the weather is good or not. We'll try to show you a great time, but it's a "rain or shine" deal and there are no refunds for delays, nonperformance or cancellations because of weather or for any other reason.
- Trash
You are responsible for keeping your campsite clean and orderly during the event. Daily trash pickup will be made in the early morning at our large garbage dumpsters, please have your refuse in the dumpsters. Upon leaving, we ask that you leave your campsite as you found it. Leave nothing but footprints! Bring your trash to the exit gate for proper disposal. We also ask you to separate recycling. Recycling bins will be available.
Last but not least while you are at the Longhorn Campground
Admission into the campground constitutes consent to use without restriction reproductions of your likeness, whether by photograph, video, film or otherwise, for commercial and noncommercial purposes, including but not limited to publication in magazines, video, movies and internet websites about the Longhorn Campground.
No readmission into our campground without current day's wristband: No one will be admitted through the gate without a wristband authorizing admission for that day. We will place the wristband on your wrist so this means you didn't leave it in your tent or any other excuse..
IF YOU VIOLATE ANY OF THE RULES OF THE LONGHORN CAMPGROUND, AND ARE ASKED TO LEAVE, THERE WILL BE NO REFUND OF YOUR ADMISSION FEE! WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO CANCEL THIS EVENT AT ANYTIME FOR ANY REASON.
